First-Time College Applicant:
You are considered a first-time college applicant if you have not enrolled in college level courses for credit after graduating high school. This includes high school students and people who have taken time off before enrolling in college.

Apply via First Year CommonApp. Submit CommonApp. Do not use a school email address to create your CommonApp.

Within 48 hours you will receive two (2) emails with a temporary pin and login instructions. Follow the instructions in the email.

Click "Returning User" and login using temporary pin and create new password when prompted.

Check Applicant Portal regularly for status updates.
Transfer Applicant:
You are considered a transfer undergraduate applicant if you have enrolled in college level courses for credit after graduating high school.-
Apply via Transfer CommonApp. Submit CommonApp. Do not use a school email address to create your CommonApp.

Within 48 hours you will receive two (2) emails with a temporary pin and login instructions. Follow the instructions in the emails.

Click "Returning User" and login using temporary pin and create new password when prompted.

Check Undergraduate Applicant Portal regularly for status updates.
Re-Admit Applicant:
You are considered a re-admit undergraduate applicant if you were previously enrolled as a MassArt undergraduate student, and have withdrawn before completing your degree.

Follow the instructions on the page - do not use a school email address to create your account.

You will receive an email with a temporary pin within 15-20 minutes.

Login using temporary pin and create new password when prompted.

Complete and submit Re-Admission application.

Graduate Applicant:
You are considered a graduate applicant if you have an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree, or comparable post-secondary degree.

Complete and submit the graduate application.

Post-Baccalaureate Applicant:
You are considered a Post-Baccalaureate applicant if you have an undergraduate (Bachelor's) degree, but are not pursuing a graduate (Master's) degree.
